After a night were the crowd were so pumped I don't know if much sleep was had by anyone the atmosphere was again fully charged and ready to kick start day two. The morning meeting went into a high gear with powerful worship from RPM. One of the new songs "Thank you for the cross" set the temperature for the praise and worship. From the outset God was firmly on the agenda and RPM encouraged everyone to have a God encounter that day.
Up first to speak on Thursday was Andy Hawthorne and he gave a passionate talk and communicated his heart about reaching the lost.
He shared his story and encouraged the crowd to know Him and make Him known. Andy's zeal was infectious and hearing his many stories of God working across the world was amazing.
Christine Caine then followed and she also shared her life story about how she had been given information that she had to face in life that she was told she was adopted and she was told she was not qualified to work with young people. She called this the facts and she had reached the opinion that God's truth supersedes any facts.
That you can be shaped by the facts that stare at you each day or you can choose to live the life God has planned for you.
She also gave a seminar on leadership where she gave 10 points about the person a leader needs to be, this challenging message clearly made a huge impact on the leaders who were there. She appealed for leaders to realize that they need to change to see things change in their youth ministry.
The campus was so busy over lunch and the vibe outside in the afternoon was fantastic as the young people played on the outdoor skate park, basketball, football, cage football, climbing wall and graffiti wall not to mention the activities inside. Also in the In the afternoon Sacred dance group ran a very popular dance workshop which was packed with would be dancers keen to glean some extra knowledge on how to strut their stuff.
The evening meeting finished with a bang as again RPM lead a superb worship set of loud uncompromising praise and worship. Andy Hawthorne brought an inspiring message about becoming more like Jesus in our world and trying to do everything we can to reach the lost.
Another amazing day closed with loads more people making decisions for Christ I can't wait for tomorrow.
